Summary

The guest bathroom in this Delray Beach home needed a full upgrade. The original tub and tile felt dated and didn't meet the homeowner's needs for a modern, watertight space. We were brought in to deliver a clean, functional shower with custom tile work and thorough waterproofing.

The Work

Protected all flooring and furniture, set up barriers to contain dust
Removed the old tub surround and salvaged usable plumbing parts
Installed new cement board, mortar, and three layers of waterproofing on all wet areas
Modified plumbing, added a new shower valve, installed a curb, and updated the drain
Laid large format wall tiles and mosaic tiles on the shower floor, finishing with grout and matching caulk

The Outcome

The bathroom now features a bright, fresh shower with crisp tile lines and upgraded waterproofing throughout. Every fixture is set for daily use. The space feels open, easy to clean, and secure against leaks, giving our clients a guest bath ready for years of comfort.
